The Avenues Tauranga

Adobe renovated this gorgeous home in the Avenues, refurbishing wherever possible to create a blend of beautiful treasured elements with modern conveniences. The fireplace remains intact, the 50’s stainless steel benchtop polished up like new, and the Rimu native hardwood floors refinished. Together with our Plumber, Electrician and Interior Designer, the small guest bath was fully utilized to contain all the necessities without feeling cramped. For our homeowner, a fairy tale dream bathroom was created with a soaking tub and subway tiles. Our homeowner found treasures to incorporate, a chest of drawers turned bathroom vanity for example. This beautiful historic home proves that working within a footprint, preserving where possible, and working with brilliant subcontractors creates a remarkable result.

Appartments Mt Maunganui

Adobe completely renovated an apartment in a prestigious Mount Maunganui complex.

Together with our Plumber and Interior Designer, our staff re-envisioned the use of the master bedroom, closet and bathroom space. The bathroom now has better flow, a more functional his and hers shower, and finished with bright and modern look. This was accomplished while maintaining ample closet and bedroom space for the owners. The kitchen was upgraded from dated appliances and an awkwardly placed island to a stunning, efficient space. Finally, the balcony received a little TLC with new tiles and ceiling.

Reclad Papamoa Beach

Adobe recently where engaged to remediate this home at Papamoa.

This work included design, consent, construction and Code of compliance
The scope of works was to remove the entire existing plaster cladding system ,replace all rotten or damaged timber re apply a preservative on existing framing ,upgrade insulation ,supply and fit new double glazing ,cavity , reclad and paint.
This work also included addressing ground clearances and drainage as per current building code.

The house was recladded in a product call Weathertex. The owners were very pleased with the overall finish keeping in with the theme of living at the beach.
